This role is post-boarding support for merchant accounts: helping merchants once their account is live, answering payment processing and gateway questions, and working issues through to resolution. It suits someone detail-oriented who is comfortable talking directly with business owners.
What you will do- Provide post-boarding support for merchant accounts
- Respond to inquiries about payment processing and gateway functionality
- Troubleshoot payment issues including declines, settlements, and chargebacks
- Assist with gateway setup and integrations
- Coordinate with banks and internal teams for resolution
- Document support tickets in CRM systems
- Escalate complex technical issues appropriately
- Maintain merchant relationships through timely support
- Customer support, merchant services, or fintech experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Payment processing troubleshooting capability
- Detail-oriented organizational skills
- Comfort working with business owners
- Payment gateway or merchant account experience
- CRM or support ticketing platform familiarity
