Job Description & How to Apply Below

Description

At Tagg-N-Go, training doesn’t happen in a classroom—it happens in the tunnel, at the pay station, and shoulder-to-shoulder with our teams. We’re looking for a Field Operations Trainer with real operational experience and leadership presence who can coach managers, build training programs, and model our standards in the field.

This is a rare role. You’ll get your hands dirty, clean cars, work in the tunnel, coach managers in real time—and also step back to build, improve, and evolve training programs that scale with our growing company.

If you’ve led teams, earned respect in operations, and love helping others level up, this role was built for you.

Compensation
:
Starting at $55,000+, with flexibility based on experience

Requirements

Why You’ll Love It Here
  • Real Influence: You’ll shape how leaders and teams are developed company-wide
  • No Fluff Training: Everything you build gets used in the real world
  • Growth-Oriented Culture: We invest in leaders who invest in others
  • Strong Benefits: Health, dental, vision, HSA, 401k match, PTO, EAP, education reimbursement
  • Fun, Gritty, Fast-Growing Company: We work hard, have fun, and don’t take ourselves too seriously

This is not a classroom style or administrative training role.
This is a leadership role that blends:

  • Hands-on operational training
  • Manager coaching and development
  • Program building and continuous improvement

Some weeks are packed with back-to-back field training. Others are quieter, focused on building content, refining programs, filming training, and improving systems. Flexibility and ownership matter here.

What You’ll DoLead Hands-On Field Training
  • Coach Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, and teams directly in the field
  • Train in tunnel operations, safety, sales, guest experience, and systems
  • Model standards by working alongside teams—including tunnel support and pit cleaning
  • Reinforce expectations through real-time feedback, repetition, and accountability
Build and Evolve Training Programs
  • Design and improve onboarding, leadership development, and skill-based training
  • Update SOPs, job aids, LMS content, and training videos
  • Identify training gaps through observation and turn them into scalable solutions
  • Partner with Operations, HR, Maintenance, and Guest Support to align training with reality
Support Growth & Change
  • Support new site launches, acquisitions, and leadership transitions
  • Travel to sites across Utah, Idaho, and Nevada as needed
  • Help teams adopt new tools, programs, and processes with confidence
What Makes You a Strong Fit

You:

  • Have management or supervisory experience in operations or frontline leadership
  • Earn credibility by doing the work, not just talking about it
  • Are comfortable giving feedback, holding standards, and coaching through mistakes
  • Thrive in fast-paced, sometimes messy environments
  • Can zoom out to build systems—and zoom in to clean a pit if that’s what the day needs
  • Are curious, adaptable, and hungry to learn everything

You don’t just know the process—you understand people.

Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience (training experience a plus)
  • 1–3 years’ experience leading training or learning programs - or proven record of developing teams in operations roles
  • Experience developing teams in operational environments
  • Strong communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
  • Strong ability to evaluate, research, and implement effective learning solutions
  • Comfortable working independently with strong organization and follow-through
  • Tech-comfortable – Google Workspace; familiarity with LMS and/or instructional authoring tools helpful
  • Willing and able to travel up to ~50% during peak periods
  • Physically able to work in tunnels, outdoors, and hands-on environments

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and hands-on training
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Hands-on role alongside managers and attendants, including tunnel support, trench cleaning, and on-site coaching
