Join Iconic Care as a Clinical Educator NP/PA & Travel Nurse to combine clinical practice, education, and national travel. This role is a W2 employee with a salary of $155,000‑185,000 plus performance bonuses.
Who We AreIconic Care is a physician‑owned group of skilled providers (physicians, PAs, and NPs) delivering care across ten states with plans to expand nationwide. We partner with top‑tier nursing and skilled care facilities to manage pain, enhance therapy outcomes, and help patients regain independence.
LocationRemote with resident city limitations. Candidates must be based in one of the following greater metropolitan areas:
Salt Lake City, Seattle/Tacoma, Oakland/East Bay, Phoenix, Las Vegas, or Denver. Candidates outside these cities CANNOT be considered.

- Provide interim clinical coverage at Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) nationwide for providers on extended leave (~50% of the job)
- Train and educate new NPs and PAs on physiatry principles and procedures, including joint and trigger point injections, spasticity treatments, and pain management strategies (~50% of the job)
- Facilitate integration by introducing new providers to facility administrators and primary care teams, helping them establish excellent working relationships
- Guide efficient patient rounding schedules and streamlined charting processes, and support providers inexperienced in physiatry and new graduates
- Travel extensively (48‑50 weeks per year, Monday‑Friday; longer only if interim coverage requires a longer stay – rarely longer than 2 weeks) to skilled nursing facilities nationwide. Currently operated in 10 states with ambitions to serve all 50 states within 5 years
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
- Valid medical and DEA license
- 3‑5 years of clinical experience in Physiatry, PM&R, Skilled Nursing Facilities, or Post‑Acute Care (MUST)
- Passion for educating others and a people‑first personality
- Availability and willingness to travel frequently and for extended periods
