The Event/Field Account Executive is responsible for traveling to various-sized trade shows throughout the year. The Account Executive is expected to set up exhibit booths, sell prospects on the floor, gather leads to work back in the office in between events, and assist any current customers encountered while attending these events.
Location:In-office at our Lehi, UT headquarters with frequent overnight travel required
Reports to:Director of Event Sales
What You Will Own
- Attend 3 trade shows and seminars per month of varying sizes. Tasks include booth setup, signing up prospects at events (“Sold at Show”), gathering leads (EQLSs) for follow-up, and assisting current customers met during events.
- Maintain targets for sales made at shows, conversion rates, and meeting or exceeding EQL/Sold-at-Show objectives specific to each event.
- Efficiently manage all EQLS/Sold-at-Show opportunities to meet SLAS (Sales Lead Acceptance Standards).
- Attend weekly team meetings and meet daily performance and effort standards.
What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job
- Willingness to travel, with overnight trips a minimum of 2–3 times per month.
- Experience in trade shows or in-person customer/prospect interactions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel with, set up, and tear down booth materials (backdrop, table, décor, demo equipment).
- Professionalism while representing the company in the field.
