JOB SUMMARYPerforms a variety of skilled duties related to the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of city wastewater collection system main lines. May operate machinery to clean water systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS- Graduation from high school.
- Previous experience with underground water systems, equipment placement, residential service locations, easements and right-of-way specifications is preferred.
- Must have Utah CDL license or obtain it within 6 months.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Skilled in operating various types of tools and power equipment to perform essential functions.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisor, subordinates and the public.
- Will be required to pass a drug test and back ground check.
- Position level depends on experience and State Wastewater Collection Certification.
- Must obtain State Wastewater Certification Grade 1 within 12 months.
