We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to provide technical leadership within a collaborative Xact Restore product team. Our teams bring together product management, UX, and engineering—including QA—to understand customer problems, discover effective solutions, and deliver measurable results.

You’ll lead substantial engineering work, guide technical decisions, and strengthen development practices while sharing accountability for product outcomes with your teammates. You’ll also collaborate with engineering leaders across the Restore division to improve our technical direction and how we build software.

You’ll help build reliable capabilities that support customers’ operational needs, including the complexity of enterprise organizations adopting Xact Restore across their teams.

QualificationsA four-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 7+ years of related experience.

A record of leading complex, hands-on engineering work within collaborative product teams, from discovery through delivery and operation.

Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate design options, explain tradeoffs, and manage technical risks.

Experience improving engineering practices and helping other engineers apply them effectively.

Practical judgment in using AI-assisted development tools, verifying their work, and recognizing when human intervention is required.

Experience using data to assess technical decisions and improvements, or demonstrated analytical judgment with a commitment to developing these practices further.

Clear communication, effective collaboration, and the ability to work independently within agreed priorities.

Accountability for your contributions and the team’s outcomes, with a willingness to surface risks, learn from failures, and improve the approach.

Technical expectations and experience

Strong experience building and operating production applications across the stack is required.

Experience with some or all of the following technologies is preferred:

Web:
Angular.

Backend and APIs: .NET and GraphQL.Mobile:
