Emergency Medicine Physician – $250/hr – 12‑Hour Shifts – Fort Myers, FL
Lehigh Acres, FL – Contract | On‑Site | 1099 Independent Contractor
Position SummaryWe are seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine physician to support our 11‑bed Emergency Department handling 26,000 annual visits.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to live and work just minutes from Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Compensation & Benefits- $250/hr (1099 Independent Contractor)
- Malpractice Insurance + Tail Coverage Provided
- Flexible 12‑hour shifts: 7a‑7p | 7p‑7a
- Part‑time or full‑time considered
- Epic EMR (preferred experience)
- Provide acute emergency care across a wide variety of patient presentations
- Perform critical procedures and rapid assessments
- Manage and stabilize patients of all ages
- Collaborate closely with nursing and hospital staff
- Document patient care using Epic EMR (preferred experience)
- MD or DO; board‑certified or board‑eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with ED experience
- Current or eligible Florida medical license
- Certifications:
ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS - 1+ years of Emergency Medicine experience preferred
