Independent Contractor – Physical Therapist
Schedule:
Fridays, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Lunch 1:00 – 2:30 PM) Rate: $500/day
Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center (GSRC) is a well-established, multi-disciplinary practice serving the southeastern region of Florida for over 25 years. Our services include chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, and psychotherapy, with five locations dedicated to our mission: “To provide the most courteous and effective care and increase the well-being of every person who walks through our door.”
We’re seeking a passionate Independent Contractor Physical Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. You will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, reduce pain, restore strength, and help patients recover from injuries or illness.
Responsibilities- Consult with patients and gather both subjective and objective information about their condition.
- Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Teach and guide patients in therapeutic exercise techniques.
- Provide or delegate manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
- Assist patients with mobility devices and adaptive equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and track progress.
- Educate patients and families on at-home exercises and self-care.
- Collaborate with billing to confirm payment viability based on case type.
- Discharge patients upon completion of therapy goals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; able to work with diverse populations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Team-oriented with a focus on exceptional patient care.
- Current Florida Physical Therapy License.
- Valid malpractice insurance policy.
