Caregiver Lehigh Acres

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

We are seeking a 28‑year‑old adult male who needs support with personal hygiene, meal preparation, supervision, and community outings to provide care to the designated individual. The individual enjoys listening to music, watching TV with family, and spending time outdoors

This is an independent contract position and pays $15.00 per hour

Schedule: 12‑hour shifts available (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM). Shifts available 7 days a week – consistent schedule provided.

• Have a positive outlook and contagious energy.
• Demonstrate patience and compassion.

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Supporting with personal hygiene.
• Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.
