This position requires all aspects of the sales process. Therefore, one must have a track record of qualifying and closing while also creating new relationships with builders and potential clients.

• Develop and execute a strategy to generate new customers in your sales territory
• Help the company stay on top of all developments related to new business opportunities, sales activities, and customer needs through our CRM
• Speak to potential customers to introduce our services or new products
• Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met
• Attend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales events
• Sell consultatively and not on price
• Be humble in your approach, yet relentless in your efforts to achieve your goals
• Effectively manage relationships over a long period of time
• Have ample construction knowledge
• Be effective at working with a referral network
• Be willing and able to follow a proven sales process that may appear non-traditional at first
• Have strong levels of responsibility and be highly coachable and trainable

• Working knowledge of a CRM
• 3–5 years of inside or outside sales experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Strong organizational skills and time management
• Prior experience working in the construction industry (required)
• 3 or more years of sales experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities
• Experience in sales management or a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field is a plus

$62,000 – $120,000 per year
