Registered Behavior Technician

Full-Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Transportation & Classroom Support

Leicester, MA

Pay Rate: $35/hour

Monday–Friday, approximately 38 hours per week

Follows the school year calendar (off during school vacations)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide both transportation support and classroom assistance for a student traveling from Leicester to Southborough. The RBT will ride with the student to and from school each day and support the PreK team during school hours. This role is ideal for an experienced behavioral professional who thrives in both one‑on‑one and classroom settings.

• Ride with the student daily between home and school, ensuring safety and behavioral support.
• Ensure the student remains safely secured in their seat and harness.
• Provide proactive behavioral support and de‑escalation as needed during transport.
• Support the PreK classroom team throughout the school day by assisting with student engagement, data collection, and behavior management.
• Track and report behavioral observations, triggers, and progress to the supervising BCBA or school team.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and composure in challenging situations (including aggression, attempts to exit the harness, or disrobing).

• Active RBT certification (required)
• Experience working with children with Autism or developmental disabilities
• Strong behavioral management and data collection skills
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and proactive in high‑stress environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
