Accounts Senior £32,000 - £35,000 Preston Hybrid Working Monday to Friday - Core office hours Outsource UK are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a growing and well-established accountancy practice in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. Working closely with managers, partners, and clients, you'll take ownership of a varied portfolio while supporting the development of junior team members.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of clients and the opportunity to further develop your technical and client-facing skills within a busy general practice setting.

The Role As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse client base including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Key Responsibilities Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies in line with relevant accounting standards Prepare draft corporation tax computations and supporting schedules Prepare schedules for tax returns Complete VAT returns and support Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide ongoing support Review work completed by junior team members Assist with the development and mentoring of junior staff Support managers with departmental responsibilities and client delivery Assist in managing outsourced accounting functions where required Deliver software training and support to clients Ensure assignments are completed accurately, on time, and within budget

About You:
