Our public sector client are recruiting for an Operational Support Assistant to join a busy and supportive team based in Croft. This role will provide essential administrative and operational support to help ensure projects and services are delivered efficiently and within budget.
Location:
Croft
Pay Rate: £14.83 per hour
Hours:
Up to 30 hours per week (3 days per week – flexible on days and working pattern)
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operational activity, managing administrative processes, and assisting with data analysis and reporting. This position offers flexibility in working hours and the opportunity to work across a variety of tasks within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional administrative and operational support to the wider team.
* Maintain and manage documentation, records, and operational paperwork.
* Support the delivery of projects, ensuring processes are followed and deadlines are met.
* Assist with data analysis and reporting to support operational decision-making.
* Communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, both via telephone and in person.
* Help develop, implement, and maintain administrative systems and processes to support service delivery.
* Respond to enquiries and assess requirements in a customer-facing environment, ensuring timely and appropriate action.
* Travel to various locations across the county when required.
Key Skills & Experience
* Previous experience working in an administrative or business support role.
* Strong understanding of administrative procedures and processes.
* Experience working in a customer-facing environment, responding to enquiries and assessing needs.
* Ability to analyse data and manage administrative tasks accurately.
* Strong communication skills, including telephone and presentation abilities.
* Experience supporting or developing administrative processes and systems.
* A flexible and proactive approach with the ability to manage a variety of tasks.
* Ability and willingness to travel across the county when required.
