Location: County Hall, Groby Road, Glenfield, Leicestershire, LE3 8RA

Salary: £26,832 - £28,146 per annum (pro rata for part-time)

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide specialist administration support to the Quality and Contracts team, managing the enquiry line – the central point for internal staff and external parties to contact the team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a range of queries daily via email and telephone.
  • Supporting the team with information about concerns in providers and safeguarding information.
  • Overseeing contractual changes and managing information about the quality of contracted providers.
  • Communicating with a wide range of audiences and handling complex queries.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop processes and support implementation.
Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Support people to resolve complex organisational issues, interpreting and communicating information to different audiences.
  • Be self‑motivated and able to manage their own workload, prioritising, meeting timescales and working under pressure.
  • Develop and maintain record‑based systems with accurate written records.
  • Manage challenging and potentially confrontational situations with professionalism.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills, including understanding contractual compliance and setting up new contracts.
  • Experience working in an administrative/financial setting, including an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in administration/secretarial roles).
  • Able to use Microsoft Office and other IT systems to a high standard.
