About the role
We are seeking a Personal Assistant to work for the Executive Support Group at the University of Leicester to support one or more senior University leaders. Within this role, you will be expected to use your initiative and independent judgement to fulfil a wide range of support functions, including management of diaries, emails and correspondence, and minute taking and committee servicing, as required.
You will be expected to resolve issues to ensure an efficient, high-level customer service is delivered at all times. This will involve identifying gaps in information and providing relevant recommendations to internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for adapting and improving current working practices to ensure the efficiency of their office as well as supporting them administratively in the delivery of their strategic objectives.
Aboutyou
To be the ideal candidate for this role you will be able to work independently and deliver excellent personal assistant support. You will fulfil a number of administrative functions including email and diary management, maintaining systems and processes, arranging and facilitating external engagements, and providing confidential support. You will be proactive in using your own initiative and judgement to resolve many issues independently, be able to determine the urgency and appropriateness of requests.
You will possess the high standard of professional performance required to represent senior members of University staff, and the communication skills necessary to work with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders.
