Our client is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join its Facilities Team in Leicester, Leicestershire, overseeing the smooth, safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the office.

The role combines facilities management, reception oversight, administration, health and safety and supplier management within a professional legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day running, presentation and maintenance of the office
  • Manage office supplies, stationery, equipment and facilities
  • Coordinate post, franking, DX, couriers and archiving
  • Manage reception operations, including rotas and holiday cover
  • Greet clients and provide a professional and welcoming reception service
  • Manage meeting room bookings and office facilities
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, contractors and facilities providers
  • Manage facilities contracts including cleaning, security, catering and parking
  • Support office projects, renovations and refurbishments
  • Maintain GDPR and secure storage processes
  • Monitor and maintain office health and safety standards
  • Manage fire risk assessments, fire drills, alarm checks and fire safety compliance
  • Conduct regular premises inspections and ensure issues are addressed appropriately
Requirements
  • Previous experience in office management, facilities management, law firm or a similar role
  • Experience managing office equipment, facilities and administrative procedures
  • Good understanding of health and safety principles and fire risk assessments
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, proactive and able to use initiative
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional approach with discretion and confidentiality
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent
