School Finance Assistant

Part-time (20 hours) | Immediate Start | Leicester | Temporary

I am working with a well-established college to recruit a Finance Assistant to support their busy finance team. This is a full-time temporary opportunity with an immediate start, ideal for an experienced administrator or finance professional looking to work within education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process purchase orders, invoices, payments, and supplier queries
Carry out bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
Support payroll administration and staff expense claims
Maintain accurate financial records and finance systems
Liaise with suppliers and assist with month-end reporting
Support compliance with financial policies and procedures
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Previous administration and finance-related experience
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
School or college experience is desirable but not essential
