Our Client is seeking customer-focused professionals to provide administrative and operational support, ensuring users, stakeholders and judicial teams are supported end-to-end.
What you'll be doing:
- Undertaking administrative tasks to help prepare for, facilitate and conclude hearing activity
- Providing support to users and stakeholders via face-to-face engagement, telephone (incoming and outbound), and responding to correspondence in a range of formats
- Using service scripts and knowledge articles to signpost users to the most relevant support and services
- Following complaints policies and procedures, supporting users through the process and responding promptly where escalation may be needed
- Processing and maintaining accurate case file information, including secure information handling and compliance with retention/data-loss protocols
- Supporting jury service activities such as selection, deferral, reassignment and attendance tracking, plus processing related expenses and court fees
- Assisting with listing and scheduling to support efficient use of judicial time and responsiveness to urgent matters
- Supporting enforcement activity by helping with financial assessments, aiding fine collection, and producing basic statistical and financial reports
- Contributing to health and safety operations, including PEEPs, facility checks, issue logging and key/safety governance under team leader guidance
- Supporting operational delivery by processing work using standard operating procedures and meeting performance targets
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and consistently-even when needs are specific or complex
- Confidence handling correspondence, telephone enquiries and face-to-face interactions professionally
- A careful, process-led approach to administration, data accuracy and secure information management
- The ability to follow policies and procedures, and remain responsive to changing priorities in a busy environment
- A supportive attitude and willingness to help prevent issues from escalating
- Occasional travel to Loughborough Magistrates Court and Leicester Magistrates Court
- You may also be required to carry out Crown Court usher duties
