Our client, a prominent main dealer in Leicester, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their reputable team. Conduct diagnostic tests on vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks adhering to manufacturer standards and regulations
Maintain detailed records of service and repairs for each vehicle
Communicate test results and repair recommendations clearly to customers
Work collaboratively with team members in the autocentre to ensure efficient service delivery
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments, safety protocols, and manufacturer technical bulletins
Uphold the company’s commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and safety standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership or reputable garage
Fully qualified with relevant industry recognised qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with diagnostic tools and software
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to vehicle servicing
Valid UK driving licence
