Our client, a reputable and forward-thinking automotive workshop in Leicester, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician.
This role offers a competitive basic salary of £37,639, with an on-target earnings (OTE) of £43,639. The position involves a 42.5-hour workweek, with overtime paid at time and a half. The successful individual will have the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of predominantly light commercial vehicles while benefiting from ongoing training, excellent benefits, and career development prospects.

Basic salary of £37,639 with an OTE of £43,639
Bonus scheme up to 8% of annual salary

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
Performing servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a varied fleet of vehicles
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently
Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and legal compliance standards
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety procedures
Supporting workshop productivity and vehicle turnaround times
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
At least 3 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
Experience working on light commercial vehicles is advantageous but not essential
