Our client, a well-established franchise-approved dealership in Hereford, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their busy Service Department.

If you are a fully qualified Vehicle Technician with an MOT licence, eager to deliver high-quality vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs, this opportunity could be ideal for you.
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:- Competitive salary from £24,000 to £38,000 per annum, with potential for over £44,000+ OTE including bonuses
- Uncapped monthly bonus scheme of up to £6,000, rewarding efficiency and productivity
- Overtime available at enhanced time-and-a-half rate
- Ongoing technical training, including opportunities to attain Level 3 qualification to further enhance skills and earnings - 31 days annual leave, including bank holidays, increasing with length of service

- Working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday morning (8:30am-12:30pm)
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles according to manufacturer standards and dealership procedures
- Accurately diagnose faults, report vehicle conditions, safety, reliability, and performance issues to the Service Manager
- Perform MOT testing in line with Ministry standards
- Adhere strictly to quality, health & safety, and environmental procedures
- Maintain high standards of workmanship consistently in a busy environment
- Assist in achieving departmental targets and objectives
- Support team members and foster a collaborative working environment
- Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Valid MOT testing licence
- UK driving licence
- Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated, with a proactive approach and excellent team skills
- Live within reasonable commuting distance to Hereford
