We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive income through workshops, events, bookings, and partnerships. You will identify opportunities, build external relationships, and secure paid work to support long-term organisational growth and sustainability.

Essential Skills And Experience
  • Experience in business development, income generation, partnerships, or fundraising
  • Proven ability to secure paid opportunities and convert leads into revenue-generating activity
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with experience engaging external stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A proactive, results-focused approach with the ability to work independently
  • Experience working with external organisations such as schools, community groups, or partners
Desirable
  • Experience in events, workshops, arts,educationor community sectors
  • Knowledge of grant applications or funding opportunities

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and deliver strategies to increase earned income across all activity streams
  • Secure paid workshops with schools, community groups, andorganisations
  • Generate paid choir bookings and performance opportunities
  • Identifysponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Support growth in choir membership and retention of paying participants
  • Improve income generation from events through pricing and audience conversion strategies
  • Identify and support small grant opportunities where appropriate
