Fraud Investigator – Home Claims Role Overview

Reporting into one of the Home Fraud Team Leaders, you’ll be tackling a mix of suspected fraudulent claims across contents and buildings insurance and working closely with our Operational Teams, Suppliers and wider Fraud Teams to identify and respond to fraudulent claims.

• Conduct detailed reviews of newly identified claims that are of concern, providing guidance and feedback to wider teams.
• Conduct investigations on claims where suspicion of fraud exists.
• Conduct desktop investigations, formal interviews, liaise with suppliers and use intelligence solutions systems.
• Support the design of relevant fraud processes.
• Act as a technical referral point for Home Claims Handlers to support fraud identification.
• Tackle a mix of suspected fraudulent claims across contents and buildings.

• Technical fraud background within insurance or strong experience of household/home/property claims.
• Strong overall claims understanding – familiar with the end-to-end claims journey.
• Capable of making decisions and challenging the status quo – able to utilise strong communication skills and engage with a varied audience.
