We’re looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Leicester, you will work a 4 on 4 off shift working night time hours. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day- Oversee daily workshop operations, including workload planning and technician productivity
- Ensure high-quality maintenance and repair work, including service inspections and MOT preparation
- Manage job cards and service schedules
- Control parts spend, ordering and justification
- Deputise for the Workshop Manager when required
- Ensure warranty work is captured and processed correctly
- Oversee QHSE best practice and compliance with legislation
- Handle breakdowns and external sub-contracting when necessary
- Manage absence processes, return-to-work interviews, and day-to-day people supervision
- Qualified and experienced in commercial vehicle maintenance
- Previous supervisory experience within a workshop environment
- Strong understanding of operator licence and legislative requirements
- Experience working with suppliers and external contractors
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- IT literate with the ability to update systems and service schedules
- Resilient, proactive and focused on delivering results
