A well-established main contractor with an annual turnover of circa £100M, specialising in industrial and commercial new build and refurbishment projects, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the commercial team in the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and valuations

* Support contract administration and procurement activities

* Assist with measurement, cost reporting, and commercial documentation

* Work closely with project teams to monitor project costs and ensure value for money

* Relevant experience or education in quantity surveying or construction

* Strong attention to detail and numerical skills

* Good communication skills and a proactive approach

* Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a growing contractor
