Business Unit: OAK Facades
Location: UK Wide - Head office (Leicestershire)
Role PurposeAs a Site Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of fire remediation and façade projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard. You’ll coordinate activities from design through procurement to on-site installation and handover, working closely with project teams and stakeholders.
You will have experience of managing all aspects of the build process; the applicant will be required to coordinate the packages from the completed design stage through the procurement phase to installation on site and handover.
- Trade experience and site experience preferable
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
- Manage site operations, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and packages from install through to completion
- Lead site progress meetings and provide clear, accurate reporting on programme, risks and performance
- Ensure all works meet health & safety, environmental and quality standards in line with BMS
- Review and control drawings and site documentation, ensuring teams have current information
- Monitor progress against programme and support recovery where required
- Work with the Project Manager to manage costs, resources and delivery targets
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, principal contractors and site teams
- Support inspections, handover and completion, including maintenance certification
- SMSTS and CSCS (Site Manager level)
- Trade or hands‑on site background (preferred)
- Experience in fire remediation, cladding or façade works (desirable)
- Good understanding of current H&S legislation and site compliance
- Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications and programmes
- Familiar with site reporting and document control systems
- Construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or working towards (desirable)
- Proven experience managing live construction sites and subcontractors
- Strong knowledge of site safety, build sequencing and construction delivery
- Confident leading teams and coordinating multiple trades
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage programme pressures
- Clear communicator who builds strong working relationships on site
