A growing specialist contractor based in Leicester is seeking an experienced Facade & Cladding Estimator to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders and accurate cost estimates for façade and cladding packages across commercial and residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing detailed cost estimates for façade and cladding systems
- Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Completing material take-offs and pricing project packages
- Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of tender proposals
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and potential project risks
- Previous experience estimating facades, rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, or building envelope systems
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Excel or estimating software
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Competitive salary depending on experience
