VTM Highway Services is a growing traffic-management company supporting utility highways and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Due to increasing demand we are looking for an experienced and dependable Traffic Safety and Control Officer (TSCO) to join our team.

As TSCO you will help ensure that high-speed traffic-management works are planned and delivered safely correctly and efficiently.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Overseeing the installation maintenance and removal of traffic-management layouts.

• Checking works against approved drawings RAMS and site instructions.

• Briefing traffic-management crews and allocating responsibilities.

• Monitoring site safety and ensuring that layouts remain compliant.

• Coordinating lane closures road closures and other traffic-management activities.

• Liaising with clients contractors and operational teams.

• Responding to site changes and resolving operational issues.

• Recording and reporting hazards incidents defects and near misses.

• Ensuring vehicles equipment and personnel are ready for each shift.

Applicants should have:

• A valid TSCO qualification or competency card.

• Relevant NHSS 12A/B qualifications.

• Strong experience working on high-speed roads.

• Experience supervising traffic-management crews and closures.

• The ability to read traffic-management drawings and understand RAMS.

• Confident communication and leadership skills.

• A full UK driving licence preferably with no more than six points.

• A dependable professional and safety-conscious approach.
