Are you passionate about fashion and ready to take the next step in your design career?

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Assistant Designer to join a Global Fashion company working as part of their design in the Leicestershire head office.

With over 30 years' experience the company are a global fashion supplier working with leading retailers across the UK, Europe and the USA. They pride themselves on delivering commercially successful collections while building long-term partnerships with customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across multiple product categories including baby, toddler, older girls, womenswear and nightwear, working alongside an experienced design team in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting the Head of Design and Design team across a wide range of projects.
  • Creating and updating CADs using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Preparing detailed and accurate tech packs for factory production.
  • Conducting trend research and helping develop seasonal mood boards.
  • Photographing, organising and tracking shopping and development samples.
  • Liaising with overseas factories and internal teams to ensure designs are developed accurately.
  • Assisting with presentations, design boards and project administration.
What we're looking for
  • A degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline, or relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and fashion CAD design.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
  • A keen eye for detail and an understanding of current fashion trends.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for fashion and a desire to learn and develop.
What we offer
  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am–3:00pm
