Job Description

Location:

Leicester HQ – Business Services Department at Europcar’s Leicester Support Centre. Role:
Reservation Agent.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high quality of customer service and support company objectives.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Place reservations via phone or e‑mail using multiple applications and support customers using direct hire sites.
  • Assist customers during their live rental and provide post‑rental support through proactive complaint management.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.
  • Act as the day‑to‑day liaison between customers and Europcar branches to ensure smooth operations.
  • Exceed contractual SLAs as specified in Terms & Conditions and corporate contracts.
  • Ensure all Europcar policies and rental rates are followed accurately.
  • Report system issues or contract discrepancies to the Team Leader or Line Manager promptly.
  • Present a professional and courteous image at all times in attitude and appearance.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the Team Leader or Line Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent administrative skills, strong communication and attention to detail.
  • High quality standards and first‑class IT proficiency (Microsoft and Google packages).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, showing initiative and results orientation.
  • Customer‑centric approach with confidence to interact across all business levels.
  • Practical mindset, ready to tackle challenges and work overtime when requested.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, excellent time management under pressure.
  • Ownership of all tasks and duties entrusted to the role.
