As a multi-award-winning family-owned and run business, TMS Motor Group continues to grow, and we’re looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy and successful team at our Kia dealership in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Handle customer enquiries via phone and in-person, providing professional and accurate information
- Book and manage service appointments efficiently, maximising available hours and departmental resources
- Upsell service hours, parts, accessories, and Service Plans in line with company objectives
- Ensure vehicles are checked for recalls/service campaigns and parts pre-ordered to achieve ‘First Time Fix’
- Manage follow-up on additional work requirements and maintain accurate customer records in line with GDPR
- Provide excellent customer care, handling concerns professionally to maximise satisfaction and retention
- Support Aftersales/Service Manager with warranty procedures and departmental administration
- Stay up-to-date on technical changes and competitor products to provide expert advice
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role (essential)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organised, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT literate and ideally experienced with Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
