In the region of £38-46,000 DOE
About the company:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Architect to join a growing, specialist architectural practice with offices in Leicestershire and Newton Abbot. The practice operates nationally, delivering bespoke residential projects for clients with complex accessibility needs, often arising from personal injury or clinical negligence. Projects range from home adaptations and rental property alterations to high-value new builds of up to £2 million, with every scheme tailored to improve quality of life.
The successful candidate will become a key part of a passionate and professional team, taking responsibility for leading colleagues while also managing and delivering high-quality projects of their own. This role suits an ambitious, motivated, and creative architect looking for a rewarding career within a purpose-driven environment. Regular national travel is required and is supported by above-average remuneration.

Daily Duties
Leading and managing a team of architectural professionals
* Delivering bespoke residential projects from concept to completion
* Ensuring quality standards and procedures are maintained across projects
* Liaising confidently with clients, consultants, solicitors, and local authorities
* Producing technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and NBS
* Overseeing compliance with Building Regulations and accessible design standards
* Supporting the growth and development of the department as part of the leadership team
* Contract administration (desirable)
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in a leadership role within architectural practice
* Strong residential design skills with exceptional attention to detail
* In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and accessible design principles
* Confident communicator with a practical, problem-solving approach
* Proficient in AutoCAD with NBS specification experience
* Contract administration experience is an advantage
* Holds a full driving licence and is willing to travel nationally
* Able to pass a DBS check
* Minimum of 3 years' AutoCAD experience preferred
