Role Overview
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Architect to lead a team while delivering high-quality residential projects, including adaptations, new builds, and bespoke designs. The role will operate nationally, requiring regular travel, and offers above-average remuneration for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of architects and designers.
* Ensure quality procedures are maintained across all projects.
* Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the department as part of the leadership team.
* Deliver high-standard residential designs with meticulous attention to detail.
* Apply thorough knowledge of Building Regulations, Accessible Design, and technical detailing.
* Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, solicitors, and Planning/Building Control Authorities using a practical problem-solving approach.
* Utilize AutoCAD and NBS Specification for project delivery.
* Contract administration experience is advantageous.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven leadership experience in architecture or residential design.
* Strong residential design skills and an eye for detail.
* Deep understanding of Building Regulations and Accessible Design principles.
* Confidence in engaging stakeholders with clear and authoritative communication.
* Experience with AutoCAD (minimum 3 years) and NBS Specification.
* Contract administration experience (preferred).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Willingness to undergo DBS check.
* Ability to reliably commute or relocate before starting work.
Schedule
* Monday to Friday
* 8-hour working day
* No weekends
