A Ladieswear Cad Designer with a jersey wear background is needed to join a highly successful supplier to both the UK and international markets. They supply to retailers similar to Urban Outfitters, Miss Selfridge, River Island and Asos.

A Cad Designer focused on jersey wear responsible for developing stylish ladies wear ranges and managing the design process from initial pattern to sample development.

• Liaise directly with UK and European high street buyers regarding design and sales.
• Bring in new business and work with existing clients.
• Develop a range of stylish ladies wear.
• Create designs from initial pattern to sample development.
• Produce commercial and accurate design specifications.
• Research and develop new ranges to complement and drive forward existing products.
• Work within the team to meet briefs.
• Help deliver products on budget.
• Attend fit sessions.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Adhere to critical paths.
• Attend fashion and trade shows when required.

• Self‑motivated, driven designer with a specific focus on jersey wear.
• Understanding of how to work with factories and manage sample development.
• Strong design background in jersey wear with good commercial awareness.
• Experience working for a supplier to high‑street retailers.
• Fully computer‑literate including CAD.
• Knowledge of critical paths.
• Self‑motivated, confident and organised.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to travel when needed.
