A unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced Architect to join a growing team based in Leicester, delivering bespoke residential projects for clients with disabilities arising from personal injury or clinical negligence.

• Proven experience in a leadership role, including managing and developing a team.
• Strong residential design ability, combined with excellent attention to detail.
• A thorough understanding of Building Regulations and Accessible Design.
• Strong technical design and detailing knowledge.
• The ability to oversee projects and ensure high:quality procedures and standards are consistently maintained.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, consultants, solicitors, Planning Authorities and Building Control.
• Experience using AutoCAD and knowledge of NBS Specification.
• A practical, proactive and creative approach to problem:solving, with contract administration experience being advantageous.

• Leading and developing a team while helping to maintain the highest standards of design and project delivery.
• Taking responsibility for delivering high:quality architectural projects from initial design through to completion.
• Working on bespoke residential adaptations, rental property adaptations and new:build homes.
• Managing complex and individual client requirements with a thoughtful and practical problem:solving approach.
• Liaising confidently with clients, consultants, solicitors, Planning Authorities and Building Control.
• Overseeing project quality and ensuring technical and design standards are maintained throughout.
• Playing an important role in the continued growth and development of the department as part of its leadership team.
• Working on projects nationally, with regular travel required as part of the role.
