£45 to £50k a year Salary.
Head Office Location - Leicester (nationwide projects)
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who is confident taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality technical information from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion.
You will work closely with Architects, consultants, contractors and other members of the design team, playing a key role in the successful delivery of high-quality technical and construction information.
* Lead the technical delivery of projects from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion
* Produce and develop detailed technical and construction information
* Prepare, maintain and issue accurate working drawing packages
* Coordinate architectural information with external consultants
* Liaise with main contractors and sub-contractors
* Attend design team, contractor and site meetings
* Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues throughout project delivery
* Take ownership of projects and manage technical information with a high degree of autonomy
* Ensure drawings and technical information are accurate, coordinated and delivered to programme
* Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary design team
About You:
The successful Senior Architectural Technician will have:
* Professional experience within an architectural practice or related built environment organisation
* Proven experience delivering projects through the technical and construction stages
* Strong knowledge of RIBA Stage 4 through completion
* Advanced AutoCAD skills
* Good working knowledge of Revit is highly desirable
* Strong technical detailing and construction information experience
* A good understanding of UK construction methods and Building Regulations
* Experience coordinating architectural and consultant information
* Experience liaising with contractors and attending site meetings
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* The ability to work independently, take ownership and meet project deadlines
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary design environment
* A full UK driving licence is preferred due to the national nature of the project portfolio
