Position: Consultant Psychiatrist near Leicester
A progressive mental health service near Leicester is looking for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join its clinical team.

This role offers the opportunity to take overall clinical responsibility for a defined caseload while working within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Role Overview Take overall clinical responsibility for a defined caseload of service users Lead on specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and evidence-based intervention for individuals with complex mental health needs Provide expert consultation and guidance to the multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, nurses, and social care professionals Participate in clinical reviews, case discussions, and service-development activities £60,000 per year (pro-rata / portfolio-style, depending on hours) Requirements GMC registration with a licence to practise CCST / CCT (or equivalent) in the relevant area of Psychiatry Experience working with individuals with complex and enduring mental health difficulties Strong skills in psychological formulation and evidence-based interventions Excellent communication, leadership, and MDT working skills
