Consultant in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat)

We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat) on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful ENT department.

The successful appointee will undertake various duties, including:

Professional supervision and management of junior medical staff, including adherence to local employment and HR policies.

Teaching, examination, and accreditation duties, contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education activities locally and nationally.

Out-of-hours responsibilities, including participation in the Consultant on-call rota.

Managerial duties, including budget management and compliance with trust policies.

Clinical duties, with opportunities to develop a subspecialty, to be discussed during the interview with the clinical lead.
