We have been assigned by one of the UK's prestigious NHS Trusts to help recruit a Consultant in Haematology on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months
, to join their successful Haematology department.

The successful appointee will join a department where responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive in-patient and out-patient services in Clinical Haematology alongside Consultant colleagues
- Sharing responsibility for laboratory standards and quality control, ensuring UKAS compliance
- Participating in business planning and administrative duties related to patient care and laboratory interests
- Sharing out-of-hours responsibilities, including laboratory, transfusion, and clinical cover, on a rota of 1 in 4 weekends and one weekday overnight per week
- Participating in monthly laboratory seminars and the weekly medical division educational programme
- Undertaking undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training
- Achieving accreditation as required and engaging in clinical audits and guideline development
