History Teacher | Humanities Teacher | Leicester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join a successful and popular Secondary School in Leicester. This position is available to start immediately and offers either a long-term placement or the potential to move onto a permanent contract.

About the Role

This role involves delivering engaging and high-quality History lessons across all key stages within a thriving Humanities department. History is a popular subject at the school, supported by a range of extra-curricular activities that encourage students to develop a deeper curiosity for the past and a broader appreciation for the Humanities.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a qualified Humanities Teacher with the ability to teach History confidently across all levels. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, and eager to make a positive impact within a high-achieving environment. You should be able to support and stretch gifted and talented pupils while contributing to the continued success of the department.
