The Role – Health & Social Care Teacher / Sociology/PsychologyOur client school requires an inspirational, well‑qualified and hardworking teacher of Social Science to join a successful, supportive and popular Social Science department with excellent facilities. You will deliver Health & Social Science throughout Key Stages 4, making this role ideal for an outstanding teacher.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified Social Science teacher (NQT) as well as experienced teachers. The successful candidate will bring a high calibre of Social Science teaching, a drive to deliver the highest quality learning, and a contribution to our client school’s students’ educational experience. The ability to offer Sociology/Psychology is advantageous. The teacher will also be required to cover absences within the Social Science department until the end of the academic year.
Qualifications& Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status (QTLS).
- Overseas Trained Teachers (OTT) with qualifications verified by UK NARIC will also be considered.
- Ability to engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge students to maintain the school’s high standards of achievement.
- Strong contribution to a progressive Social Science department.
