Qualified English Teacher – Leicester Area (Full Time, MPS / UPS)

Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? A secondary school in the Leicester area is seeking a qualified teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, with a salary in line with MPS / UPS , depending on experience.

This role involves teaching KS3 and KS4 students, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that ignite a love for literature and enhance language skills. You will be responsible for creating dynamic learning experiences, guiding students through their GCSE English studies, and supporting them to reach their full potential in both reading and writing. Your ability to adapt teaching strategies to cater to a range of abilities will be key in ensuring student success.

Please note - QTS is needed for this role – we do have other roles suitable for unqualified teachers but the pay scale would not be the same.

Responsibilities :

• Teaching English language and literature to students in Key Stage 3 and 4 .
• Developing comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
• Monitoring student progress and providing effective feedback to help them improve.
• Collaborating with the department to continuously improve curriculum delivery.
• Engaging in professional development to enhance teaching practice.
