The School of Engineering, Infrastructure and Sustainability is one of the most research‑intensive units within the university, equipping students with the skills and specialist knowledge to solve real‑world problems. Our programmes include BEng and MEng in mechanical, aeronautical, electrical and electronic engineering, mechatronics and robotics, as well as MSc programmes in related fields.

• Lead, develop and teach modules for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Contribute to programme management and deliver high‑quality teaching.
• Engage in the School’s research activities and help generate external income.

• PhD in electronic engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Experience teaching robotics and AI at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Broad subject knowledge, strong programming ability and hands‑on experience designing and implementing robotic systems.
• Strong track record of high‑quality research in robotics and AI.
