Salary: £44,746.00 – £56,535.00

SchoolThe School of Engineering, Infrastructure and Sustainability is one of the most research‑intensive units within the university, equipping students with the skills and specialist knowledge to solve real‑world problems. We are a dynamic, inclusive school that combines cutting‑edge research, strong industrial links and state‑of‑the‑art facilities to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes accredited by multiple engineering professional institutions. Our programmes include BEng and MEng in mechanical, aeronautical, electrical and electronic engineering, mechatronics and robotics, as well as MSc programmes in related fields.
We take pride in extracurricular activities such as a practical electronics club and participation in Engineers Without Borders UK. Students compete internationally in events like the IMechE Formula Student, Railway Challenge and UAS Challenge, gaining real‑world, team‑based skills that lead to outstanding career prospects.
Role- Lead, develop and teach modules for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Contribute to programme management and deliver high‑quality teaching.
- Engage in the School’s research activities and help generate external income.
- PhD in electronic engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience teaching robotics and AI at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Broad subject knowledge, strong programming ability and hands‑on experience designing and implementing robotic systems.
- Strong track record of high‑quality research in robotics and AI.
