Aspire People are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a well-established primary school in Leicester starting post-Easter. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to contribute to the development of children in Key Stage 2.
As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons, tailored to the individual needs of your students. The ideal candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience working with primary-aged children. A positive attitude and a passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment are essential to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.
Create an inclusive, engaging classroom atmosphere where all children feel supported and motivated to learn.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure consistency in teaching and learning across the school.
Maintain effective classroom management, promoting positive behavior and a focused learning environment.
Work closely with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly within Key Stage 2.
A positive and proactive attitude with a passion for teaching and supporting children's development.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Working Hours:
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday.
