Geography Teacher Independent School (Cheshire)

Long-Term Supply Minimum 1 Term Start:
After February Half Term

Pay: £150 £ 200 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a high-quality Geography Teacher to join a well-regarded independent school in Cheshire for a minimum of one term, starting after February half term. This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated pupils in a supportive, academically focused environment with smaller class sizes and strong behaviour standards.

This role would suit a confident classroom practitioner who is passionate about Geography and able to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the secondary age range.

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience advantageous but not essential).
• Plan engaging, well-sequenced lessons aligned to the school s curriculum.
• Maintain high academic and behavioural expectations.
• Marking and assessment in line with school policy.
• Contribute positively to the wider school ethos and enrichment culture.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / PGCE or equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
• Experience teaching within UK secondary education.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management.
• Professional, reliable and adaptable.
• Independent / private school experience desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Successful candidates should hold QTS, PGCE with a relevant Bachelor's Degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.
