The Construction Curriculum Manager is a key leadership position within the Construction department, responsible for driving curriculum development, quality improvement and innovation. Working closely with the Head of Faculty, the postholder will help shape a forward-thinking, industry-responsive curriculum that supports strong student outcomes and progression. The role also plays a central part in promoting high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour and personal development across the provision.

• Work closely with the Head of Faculty to develop and review the construction curriculum in consultation with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Course Leaders to ensure high standards of learner behaviour, engagement and personal development across the curriculum area.
• Lead on course development and continuous improvement within the department.
• Act as the Teaching, Learning and Digital Champion for the curriculum area, embedding innovative practices and effective use of learning technologies.
• Oversee the implementation and effective use of digital systems and tools to enhance delivery, assessment and student outcomes.

• Degree Level Qualification in an appropriate subject for role or extensive experience in subject specialism.
• Certificate in Education/PGCE or QTS through other valid qualification pathways or working towards.
• Experience of working in a Further Education college environment.
• Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Skills and expertise to lead a team of dedicated lecturers.
