Primary Teaching Assistant

Overview

Aspire People are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to join our partner schools across Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a classroom environment.

• Provide support to class teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.
• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
• Support pupils with additional needs to ensure inclusive learning.
• Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the class teacher.

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting (desirable).
• A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are advantageous.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.

• Competitive daily rates of £95 - £110, depending on experience.
