**** Uplands Infant School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Nursery team, working with our youngest learners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for early childhood education to help give our children the very best start to their learning journey.

* • Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities.***
* • Assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of the Early Years curriculum.***
* • Providing personal care routines as appropriate for nursery aged children.***
* • Observing and recording children’s progress to share with staff and parents.***
* • Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion and wellbeing.***
* • Working effectively as part of the Nursery and wider school team.

**** THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:***
* • A relevant Early Years Level 2 childcare/teaching assistant qualification. (Must be an accepted qualification on the DfE Early Years Qualification list)***
* • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above***
* • Previous childcare experience***
* • A proven ability to work on their own initiative***
* • A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults***
* • The ability to use relevant technology/equipment***
* • A can-do attitude***
* • A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school***
* • Demonstrates patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach.
