About the role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Programme Administrator to join the University of Leicester School of Business (ULSB). As a key member of our professional services team, you will play a vital role in supporting the full student lifecycle for both undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes. Your responsibilities will include managing assessment processes, timetabling, student progression, and engagement, as well as maintaining accurate student records and supporting the School’s Virtual Learning Environment.

You will also contribute to the quality assurance and monitoring of our programmes, supporting curriculum planning, module evaluation, and programme reviews. You will work closely with academic and administrative colleagues, students, and external stakeholders to ensure a high-quality, student-focused service.

About you

You will be educated to A-level standard or possess equivalent experience in a relevant administrative role, ideally within a higher education setting. With excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and experience managing complex record systems, you will be confident in using your initiative and judgement to resolve issues efficiently. A strong understanding of data protection and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential.

We are looking for someone with outstanding communication and customer service skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail. A flexible, proactive approach and a commitment to continuous improvement are key.
