Location: Leicester Forest East

Overview

Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant, Grade 5 (£25,191 - £25,590 pro rata contact for actual expected salary).

Contract:

Temporary until July 2026. Flexible part‑time hours available at mutual agreement between school and candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Support and encourage children with special educational needs in all aspects of school life.
  • Work alongside the class teacher, providing support for teaching and learning opportunities for a child with individual needs, including communication and interaction.
  • Work independently and as part of a committed and supportive team, handling both rewarding and challenging situations.
Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience working positively with children in a pre‑school setting, transferable skills, and the ability to support and encourage children with SEN.
